Vietnam veteran loses limbs in blast and adjusts to life
Noble Craig, a sergeant in Vietnam, lost his right arm and leg after stepping on a mine on his 12th day in country. He later had his left leg amputated due to gangrene and lost hearing and sight in his right ear and eye. Back home, he reassured his wife Sally and, during recovery, encouraged other amputees while becoming a woodworker and teacher at a local high school shop.
