Country doctor Dr Donalson leads Lincoln County medical group
In Fayetteville Tennessee Dr L M Donalson a self taught country physician rose from modest beginnings to become 1969 president of the Lincoln County Medical Association chosen by white colleagues despite his work serving Negro patients Since 1932 he built a Negro hospital system and helped erect a modern hospital funded by the county court His humble reply was I am just a country doctor trying to make a living The community praises his service and notes the hospital and schools benefited both races
