Fire destroys Prior Products plant in Middletown blaze
A two alarm fire at Prior Products Inc. on Atco Avenue destroyed the one story plant, causing an estimated loss near 1.5 million dollars. About 72 firefighters from four companies battled the blaze amid collapsing brick walls and twisted girders. Two firemen were injured lightly as the roof and walls gave way. Origin under investigation. local industries and the Middletown Chamber organized aid and temporary offices.
