Two sisters sterilized after birth drug ban shocks Alabama
In Montgomery, two sisters aged 12 and 14 were sterilized following an FDA ban on a birth control drug used by the Montgomery Family Planning Center. The center says alternatives were discussed. the girls and their father filed a $1 million lawsuit alleging lack of understanding and consent. defendants include the Montgomery Community Action Agency.
