OSU trustees approve 122 million budget and student fee hike
Ohio State University trustees approved a 1966 67 budget of 122 million and the first student fee increase since 1963. Fees rise 2 per quarter for residents and 46 for non residents, bringing yearly fees to 450 for residents and 1008 for out of state students. The plan funds instruction research and service while maintaining low state school fees. Two thirds of regular faculty get pay increases, lifting salary average by 4. State revenues total about 45 million with 21.5 million from student fees and 10 million from federal sources, against last year’s 108.9 million expenditures.
