Kellys Will Emphasizes Character Over Money
Philadelphia millionaire John B. Kelly, father of Princess Grace, states in his will that character rather than wealth should guide his heirs. He leaves most estate to his wife and three daughters and son, with $500,000 for probate plus mentions of major holdings. He dictates the will April 14 before his death at 70 from cancer. The document preserves provisions for widow Margaret and emergencies such as furs or a car, and defends in laws.
