Accused killers' plea shocks in College Corner robbery case

Guiry reports that a plea by the accused included a plan to rob a bank in College Corner Indiana. After the bank was closed the group drove to Camden Preble County and robbed O Dells BP gas station at gunpoint. They then headed to Butler County to rob the Lazy Dog but were confronted by Roberts. Kendrick fired a deer slug wounding Roberts and the trio fled, stealing a deputy’s weapons and cruiser before a chase ended in a culvert crash and arrests. Kendrick and Morris face trial dates. Kendrick says he was under prescription drugs and not aware of pulling the trigger. He pleaded guilty to resolve the case quickly and avoid a lengthy trial.
