Diddle's Blue Grassers Narrow Defeat in Ohio Kentucky All Star Show

A crowded Saturday night in June featured Ohio and Kentucky All Stars delivering a close two point game. Ed Diddle praised his team despite the loss and recalled earlier hard travel days while Walker funded uniforms and travel for both sides. Fellow coaches and traveling friends packed the scene as scouts tipped Linville to Western Kentucky and other next destinations. The rainout risk kept the game indoors and Diddle claimed Ohio would challenge Indianapolis if played there or on the air.
