Warren study group drops new connector from priority list
The Southwest Warren County Transportation Study chose 19 projects to ease congestion in the fast growing area. A proposed by pass between I 75 and I 71 was dropped as a high priority while widening Bethany Road to four lanes remains a focus. Residents in Deerfield and Turtlecreek opposed an East-West connector through their property and will have two July public meetings to discuss priorities. County officials said a separate study covers other areas and Southwest Warren is studied separately due to density and congestion.
