Red Cross sewing group aids hospitals and nursing homes

A Dayton area Red Cross chapter group led by Mrs. Evelyn Fredrickson and Mrs. Mary Rock sews from 10 am to 2 pm on Tuesdays on the second floor. They produce beanies, scarves, lap robes, baby layettes and nursing home items, with knitters at home and scraps needed for trims and appliques. They also collect magazines for the VA Hospital and Longview State Hospital.
