Hotel Antiques Turn Soda Springs Inn Into Living Showroom
In Soda Springs California the Soda Springs Hotel doubles as an antique shop with 36 rooms of saleable furniture. Maggi Littenstein and Lorraine Wells transformed the 1929 granite building into a home and business, refurbishing interiors while filling rooms with items from around the world. Guests buy beds wardrobes end tables mirrors and more as spring arrivals replenish stock. The hotel sits near Donner Pass and owners joke about past plastic interiors while their marriage and venture flourish through hobby plus enterprise.
