Middletown zoning hearing tabled until August
City Planning Commission reviews more than a dozen zoning recommendations from the February public hearing on the proposed map. Residents challenged several provisions including apartment zoning near the Grossmar tract and commercial changes along Clark Webster Yankee York and Roosevelt avenues. The plan favors continuing B and C districts with adjustments to protect residential areas and site specific needs, while Braden and Bachmann tract decisions are retained with limited P-1 and P-24 options.
