Awards For The Courteous Officer Will Seek Out Best Drivers
Middletown Safety Week will feature Ptl. Arnold Ferguson as courtesy officer. He will select four courteous drivers daily and award two Paramount Theater passes each. Daily top driver gets auto lubrication from Sebastian's Service Station and an orchid from Armbruster Florists. Weekly standout earns dinner for two at Lafayette Lodge 37. Ferguson will wear a white shirt and gloves, display a courtesy officer sign, and Safety Week runs June 24 to 30.
