Clearcreek trustees weigh police force funding plans
Clearcreek Township trustees debated establishing a township police force to supplement sheriff patrols. Supporters pointed to earmarking most of the $33,700 fiscal 1976 federal revenue sharing for police funding, while the budget remains tight and a past levy was rejected. The panel also considered road widening and planned a meeting with county officials to resolve land title matters.
