Ellsberg, Leaker of Pentagon Study, Missing in Action
New York AP reports Daniel Ellsberg, named by ex New York Times staffer Sidney Zion as the man who leaked the 47 volume Pentagon Vietnam study to the Times, has vanished from public view. Friends and family have no clues to his whereabouts, last seen in his MIT office Wednesday. MIT officials say he was involved with the 1960s study and related documents. Ellsberg, a former Marine and Harvard graduate, is described as a serious, private man whose actions helped fuel national debate over U.S. policy in Vietnam.
