Lebanon Council weighs census to open more liquor permits
Lebanon may issue more liquor permits if population exceeds 10 000. Thomas C. Kotte offered to fund a special census, with four of seven council members present at the vote. Officials warned over control, costs, and impact on federal funds and local projects. The next regular census is 1980, and funds could rise with a larger population.
