Witnesses described the perpetrator watching as Bowen struggled to reach her duplex before collapsing.
Chrysler Corp plans to eliminate all fullsize autos in fall 1977 as part of a three year transition to smaller, more fuel efficient cars. The move targets its large Imperial and big C body models, aligning with Ford and GM shifts away from large cars amid rising imports and 1980 mileage goals.
