House of the Week: Queen Anne Design with Modern Floor Plan
A variation of the Queen Anne by architect William G. Chirgotis features a gambrel roof and dormers to house four second-floor bedrooms while preserving 18th century charm. The design emphasizes a fluid first-floor traffic pattern connecting foyer, kitchen, dining, living, and family rooms, with a spacious two-car garage and bright breakfast area. The second floor offers three bedrooms near the main bath and a master suite with two walk-in closets and a private bath.
