The CROP Walk For The Hungry organizers announced the 1978 event will start at 8 30 a m on Sept 23. The goal is 6000 with an expected 250 walkers. Last year drew 127 participants and 5140 raised. The committee meets at the Church of the Ascension on July 13 at 7 30 p m.
