Kennedy Stevenson Deal Denied by Stevenson
Chicago report claimed Kennedy and Stevenson agreed to share the presidential bid with Stevenson keeping his name off the Los Angeles ballot, Kennedy pressing a decisive effort, and Kennedy possibly accepting the VP spot if Stevenson tops the field. Stevenson denied any discussion and Daley said he had heard nothing of the deal.
