In Ohio a strong turnout favored Ford over Reagan in the Republican presidential race and Carter led the Democratic field in several counties. Butler County backed Robert Walton Sr. over Edward Shelton 14 257 to 8 779 for sheriff as Walton spoke of a long campaign and a tough race.

The procedure rebuilt her nose filled gaps with hip bone and left her senses of taste and smell intact. Ida credits the success to the team at NYU Institute of Reconstructive Plastic Surgery and hopes to inspire others facing similar challenges.
