Atomitat: Underground Home Delights Texas Family
Mrs. Jay Swayze and her family live 13 feet underground in Plainview Texas in an atomitat a four bedroom 2400 square foot underground house. The design includes a sunken entrance rich lighting private rooms and a patio with a rock garden and hillside access. The family says insurance is low and the underground home offers quiet and storm protection though stairs to upper levels remain a point of aging concern.
