Man Donates 51 Pints Of Blood For Charity Since 1941
MAYWOOD NJ Al Briddon a 52 year old factory worker has given about four times the normal blood volume to Red Cross and other agencies since 1941 totaling 51 pints. He recalls giving three pints in 1943 over two weeks and recently returned after a routine checkup to donate for a young former coworker who needed a transfusion the most. Briddon never considered selling blood and donates for free. He is a father of three and also raises cigarette money for hospitalized veterans.
