ILGWU Endorses 35-Hour Week as National Standard

The International Ladies' Garment Workers' Union endorses a 35-hour work week nationwide, opposing the Kennedy administration 40-hour stance. The move backs most organized workers in garment industries. The Amalgamated Clothing Workers Union already supports it, and ILGWU already applies 35 hours for its 447,000 members.
