JEDD Talks Progress With Liberty Township and Partners
Becker said it is too early to set the local share in the JEDD, likely below the previous 17.5 percent request by Hamilton. The latest township proposal allocated 2 percent to Hamilton, 10 percent to Mason, plus a 5 percent tax collection fee. Middletown may join due to location near Lemon Township and Monroe, which border Liberty Township. Continued discussions are expected in coming weeks with final approval possible by City Council if an agreement is reached.
