Wilson May Be Named To New Hamilton Safety Directorship
Hamilton reports a possible appointment of former city manager Howard F. Wilson as safety director over police and fire departments. Wilson resigned Friday night and issued a statement criticizing the Beckett faction. Frank Rosendahl supports the rumor, while council would have no say in the decision. The move could ease open town tensions but may place the next city manager in a difficult position. Mark Thomas will temporarily fill the manager role until a permanent appointee is chosen.
