Darby Family Explores Ireland In Covered Wagon Vacation
Noted magazine photographer Eileen Darby from Sands Point New York and her children Bobby and Ginny enjoyed a slow tour of Ireland. They rented a one horse power covered wagon in Shannon and traveled 140 miles to Cork, camping each night with farmers permission. The trip yielded over 1000 photographs capturing rural scenery and Irish hospitality.
