Preble Shawnee Hires Lawyer For School Lawsuit
Preble Shawnee school board agreed to hire attorney Herbert Wagers to represent the district in a wage dispute filed by cafeteria cook Bailey at the Camden building. Bailey seeks $3.08 hourly pay retroactive to last year, claiming a continuing contract entitles higher pay than the $2.86 she received as a cook. The board renewed Servomation Inc. contract to run cafeterias next year, with lunch price changes to be considered in August. The board also accepted resignations of athletic director Paul Buehner and teacher Delmar Moyer and discussed renting two kindergarten buildings with no decision.
