LexisNexis Pushes Customer ID and Password Changes
LexisNexis began requiring hundreds of thousands of customers to update user IDs and database passwords as part of enhanced security measures after a March breach at its Florida division left about 310000 people exposed to identity theft. The company masked Social Security and driver license numbers and tightened verification. Inactive IDs will be suspended, and users must contact support to reactivate.
