USW drives new Armco organizing push amid clashes

USW announces a fall campaign to win Armco Steel Corp. employees from the Armco Employes Independent Federation. Swartz says the independent union is company controlled and notes four failed elections prior to 1965. The 1969 contract deadline and past voting results frame the next bargaining drive.
