United States Defends Brilliantly in Olympiad Bridge Match
In New York this year Brazil finished eleventh and the United States second in a two nation Olympiad match. West was Robinson and East Jordan for the U S as four spades was reached. A dramatic defense started with the six of clubs signaling the higher suit read. The U S outplayed Brazil, but South went down four as North-South at the other table made four in two spades.
