Man seeks to withdraw guilty rape plea in Butler County case
Middletown man Danny M. Green 46 on Yankee Road filed a motion to withdraw his guilty plea in two counts of rape in Butler County Common Pleas Court. His attorney cites newly discovered evidence and alleged prosecutorial non disclosure of exculpatory material including a pastor’s claim the allegations are a lie. A July 22 hearing is set as prosecutors respond in writing by July 8. Green faces possible life in prison if convicted on multiple counts involving two girls under 13.

Cincinnati Man Charged in Middletown Home Invasion
Denzel St. Marc, 29, of Cincinnati, is jailed on 250000 bond after being charged with aggravated burglary in a Middletown home invasion. He is being questioned in a separate May 28 incident in which a Miamsburg man was shot and two other alleged suspects fled after stealing a Xbox 360 and video games.

Multiple thefts and disturbances recorded by Middletown police
Middletown police reported a string of petty thefts including a 15 year old stealing an air conditioner on Woodburn Avenue and a 31 year old woman stealing shoes at Target.
