Kasich vetoes aerospace sales tax exemption in budget
Gov. John Kasich vetoed a proposed sales tax exemption aimed at promoting aerospace research and development in southwest Ohio, marking a second veto of a similar measure within about a year. The $7 million to $8 million annual cost would have aided Wright Patterson Air Force Base related jobs, drawing mixed reactions from lawmakers and industry officials.
