Fluoride shortage prompts Springboro water review
Springboro village officials told the council that the water fails U.S. health fluoride standards with only 19 mg per liter existing naturally and no added fluoride. A June EPA letter noted the deficiency while other water quality aspects meet standards. If fluoride is added, equipment costs may be around 500 dollars.

Trenton Adopts Tax Credit Cap Limiting Local Credit
The Trenton City Council unanimously adopted an ordinance amending the local income tax law to cap the credit for tax paid to other municipalities at one half of the local 1 percent rate. The measure aims to address inter-municipal tax revenue and potential referendums loom as opponents prepare to challenge the change. Local officials warn that rejection could force drastic city service cuts, with projected annual revenue about 105 000 to 115 000 dollars.
