Ousley Named MVP In Senior Ontario Rugby Union
Jim Ousley, Middletown native and former Cincinnati standout, was named the league's most valuable player in the Senior Ontario Rugby Football Union. He remains with the Ottawa Sooners and may join the Ottawa Rough Riders next fall. Gordy Coleman recalls Dick Selma's speed and a dramatic late-rally moment from a 1961 Reds season. High school officials approve widening crossbar height and post spacing to 23 feet 4 inches and 10 feet, aiming to boost field goal attempts in 1971.
