Ohio State Patrol Names Dominick Trovato Post 9 Commander
Dominick Trovato, a 16 year veteran, assumed command of Post 9 on Ohio 4 between Middletown and Hamilton on January 6. He will relocate to Middletown with his wife Martha and two children after selling their Cincinnati home. Trovato recalled his early duty investigating fatal accidents and praised the public thanks from drivers while noting his experiences from 12 years at the Springfield post. He has served in duties during the 1952 Ohio Penitentiary riots and at the Wilmington air collision scene. Under his leadership the largest post in Ohio staffs 20 officers and four dispatchers to handle high traffic on I-75, 71, and 74. Goffos mentored him prior to the handoff.
