Baker says he overpaid taxes in 61 62 not underpaid

Defense argues that Robert Kerr received about 100000 in late 1962 campaign funds from California lenders and that Baker turned the money over to Kerr for distribution to Democratic senators. Prosecutors contend Baker underpaid taxes by about 22000 in 1961 and 1962 and kept 80000 for himself. Kerr died early 1963. Williams says funds went to Kerr as planned.
