Fire kills 14 in Ohio and Michigan blazes
The Associated Press reports 14 deaths from fires in Zanesfield Ohio and Flint Michigan. In Zanesfield two Puckett children aged 10 and 6 perished as adults fought to rescue them from a two story home where an oil stove or heater likely started the blaze. In Flint nine died as a kitchen fire began in the stove area and spread upward, survivors included Shareen Lorick 18 and Anthony 12. A separate Amboy Hill house fire killed three Whelchel family members.
