Mason Village Council Meeting Draws Crowds and Woes
A councilman ad in the Mason shopper spurred a jammed Mason Village Council meeting where officials outlined municipal problems and a bid process for garbage service. Rumpke currently holds the contract but seeks a $4 monthly rate hike. Council approved a $261,485 temporary appropriation through March and prepared a budget plan due March 1, 1970. Mayor Clarence Mott warned Mason is short on equipment manpower and money as he urged taxpayer support. A zoning ordinance reading covered land at Western Row and Snider Road near Manhasset subdivision.
