Missionary Ridge Sherman Memorial Seeks Restoration
Chattanooga residents plan a restoration of the Sherman Memorial on Missionary Ridge. The park currently holds cannons, monuments, markers, and tablets with foliage covering most of the area. A business group led by Owen Smith pushes to open the site to visitors and address neglect from the past decades.
