New subdivision plan advances in Springboro planning panel
The Springboro Planning Commission approved an 85 lot subdivision east of Twin Creek from Ohio 73 to Amarack Hills, amid waivers for street lights and setbacks. A 16 lot Homerama site is planned for 1978, with 14 builders to construct models priced 65 000 to 95 000 dollars. The plan, on a 123 acre tract zoned planned unit development, drew concerns over street layout and access to adjacent areas. A revised Ashley Commons layout and a Tamarack Trail continuation were discussed, with a special meeting set for next week to interview master plan planners.

Lemon trustees seek redesign of subdivision entrance
Lemon Township trustees urge altering the Ravenwood subdivision entrance to keep Jefferson Road wholly in the city or the township. Engineering plans to widen the bend intersection with an island would place parts of the intersection in both jurisdictions, raising maintenance and police concerns. Trustees asked Larry Weber to present a revised plan. Police Chief Haven will issue warning tickets for unsafe cars, with 72 hours to fix, and then court citations if uncorrected. Road work to uncover clogged Yankee Road storm sewer will involve test holes as water backs up near Yankee and Oxford State Road. At a recent meeting, Donald Linkous was elected president and Stanley Rothman vice president.
