Mike LeBlanc, a Cincinnati coin collector, found himself locked inside a major department store without change. He used a rare 1945 Micro S dime, valued at 12.50 dollars, to access the phone cash box and call for help. Fire claims three elderly lives in rural Ohio home

In Clark County near the Greene County line, a Sunday fire killed Jack Shaw and his sisters Nettie and Ruth, all in their 70s. Hustead volunteer firefighters reported the house was engulfed on arrival and said an explosion from an oil fired steam boiler may have sparked the blaze. Fifteen fire units and about 65 firefighters assisted in the response.
