Williams Jaynes Stevens a Fort Lauderdale nightclub operator and his 5 month old daughter Jan Clair Stevens were found in a New Orleans suburb after a nationwide search. Stevens claimed the child was his and a Kansas City court had ordered her returned to her mother Jan Kemper Stevens. Private detective Milton Thomson, charged with impersonating an officer, accompanied Stevens.
