Dayton meets Haitian triplets after Christmas arrival
A Dayton family, the Compere clan from Dayton and Gonaives, Haiti, welcomed triplet girls born premature in Miami Valley Hospital after their mother and newborns were stranded in Dayton. Volunteers from Mount Calvary Missionary Baptist Church helped reunite mother Mare-Tanie and her children with father Robert. The triplets weighed 17 to 22 pounds combined, faced surgeries, and now enjoy growing health as siblings bond with older sisters Lillie 12 and Veda 10, Beverly 6, while two charities funded their flight to Dayton.
