Modern Desert Cities Amaze Local Traveler
Mrs. Manuel Garlikov and her family toured Israel for ten days, marveling at new desert cities and ongoing projects. They saw battle equipment in Tel Aviv, met daughter Judy studying at Ulpan, and visited Jerusalem’s Mahane Yehuda Kindergarten during Chanukah festivities. Judy plans hospital work in Israel after training. The trip coincided with Lod Airport’s record arrivals during a rainy season with only one day of rain in Jerusalem.
