Miami University Symphonic Band invited to Dayton convention
The 85 member MU Symphonic Band directed by Nicholas A. Poccia will perform at 8:30 a.m. January 13 in Patterson High School auditorium as part of the Ohio Music Education Association state convention in Dayton. The program includes a five piece concert preceding a band conducting clinic led by Dr. Frederick Fennell. A Miami alumni luncheon features an illustrated talk on the new Dramatic Arts Music building on the Oxford Campus by Dr. Everett F. Nelson.
