Postal Service Rates Postponed As Court Action Continues
The Postal Service will keep current charges for services like registered insured COD certified mail, special delivery, special handling and money orders until court action ends. Planned increases would raise registered mail minimum from 95 cents to $1.90 and certified mail from 30 to 50 cents. Money order minimum would rise from 25 to 45 cents and special delivery from 80 cents to $1.70.
