Accounting Change To Help Court In Middletown
Judge J T Lamb announces a plan to streamline Middletown Municipal Court accounting with machine posting in 1959. A $5400 budget request targets eliminating hand posting and envelope addressing, while expanding jurisdiction to Lemon and Madison Townships and handling rising state patrol traffic cases, civil and criminal dockets, and trusteeships. Redecoration of the courtroom and Probation Department offices is also planned to reduce noise and improve appearance during the last year of Lambs term.
