Hunter Lions Seek Land For Ball Park
The Knot Hole Baseball League sponsored by the Hunter Lions Club may lose a playing site as the church land they used could be sold. Lions ask township trustees to develop a park land given for a park but it is landlocked and lacks a road. Trustee Fitzgerald cites drainage issues and a possible right of way to Ohio 122 to provide access. If plans fail, the Lions may buy land, while 150 homes are planned nearby and future boys will need a diamond.
