Turnpike Speeding Up Payoff
The Ohio Turnpike Commission says it may pay off the $326 million revenue bonds early by 1980, speeding up its conversion to a free state freeway. In 1971 the debt dropped to $173,026,000, cutting annual interest from $10.6 million to $5.62 million.
